Kentucky Fried Chicken participates in a “KFC Day of Giving” every year. This year, they chose to give back to Marshall County Schools by providing Central Elementary School students, faculty, staff and bus drivers a full meal.

The Moundsville and Wheeling Island KFCs collaborated to put on the event. Moundsville KFC General Manager Patricia Robinson and KFC employee Brittany Wilson distributed meals during lunch at Central Elementary School on Tuesday.

Preparation for the 350 meals given out, that included chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, a biscuit and a cookie, began at 5 o’clock that morning.
